  • Irish Wings – Musical Theatre (Tour of The Netherlands)

Director: Peter Corry

Choreographer and re-staging: Clare Leal

Role: Assistant Choreographer/Dance Captain/Ensemble

A re-working of the Musical ‘On Eagles Wing’ , the show was re-imagined and re-written to work for a Dutch audience. Fleur was a member of the ensemble as well as being Dance Captain and assisting the Choreographer Clare Leal with creating new dance numbers for the show and re-staging and re-constructing existing choreography from the previous incarnation of the show. She was also the swing (which means learning all of the dance parts to be able to cover in case of illness or injury). Fleur ended going on to cover for the lead female juvenile role of ‘Mari’ due to the actress and her understudy both being ill at the same time! It was a baptism of fire as Fleur found out in the morning and had to go on that evening. She also had to go on for the following night and thoroughly enjoyed it.
